"Shane is worried after discovering that his lab equipment has been sabotaged, but Sarah finds the key to his locker."
Shane had always been a bit of a loner, preferring to spend his time alone in the labs working on his chemistry projects or exploring the many nooks and crannies of the school. But that all changed when he befriended Sarah, one of the other students at his new school.
Strange things have been happening
around campus lately, and Shane is starting to get really worried. The lock on his lab door has been tampered with, and when he goes to investigate, he finds that all of his equipment has been sabotaged. Just as he's about to give up hope, Sarah comes running into the room exclaiming that she's found the key to Shane's locker!
At first it seemed like a coincidence that Sarah found Shane's key just when everything was going wrong, but now Shane is really starting to worry. He doesn't know who could want him gone or why they would sabotaged his lab equipment, but whatever is going on seems very threatening.
